Our Firm

Asgaard Capital is a specialty consulting and financial advisory firm, owned and run by Charlie Reardon, that specializes in helping businesses and their owners transition to their next stage. Drawing on decades of experience as an investment banker, lawyer and business owner himself, Charlie helps management and owners to better position their businesses to raise debt and equity capital, find new partners and sell or wind down their businesses. He is particularly effective at helping companies that are experiencing high growth, structural changes in their industries, or limited capital constraints, including those that might be experiencing financial distress.

Charlie also has extensive experience dealing with family businesses. Through his experience both as an owner and consultant to family-owned and run businesses, he helps families navigate performance, compensation and succession issues common to such businesses in order to achieve successful outcomes that take into account perspectives that are frequently unique to each family.

He can make concrete suggestions on how to improve operations, pick and incentivize management and advisors, run competitive financing or sale processes, and navigate the bankruptcy process when necessary, all with a single goal in mind – to drive value for investors and other stakeholders.
